This report provides an overview of the “Healing the Heart Wounds” (HWOT) programs conducted and currently ongoing over the last two months. The focus was on facilitating small healing groups that were held in consecutive weeks. Over the past five years, Sri Lankan Christians and others have faced significant difficulties. The current economic crisis, pressures on children and teens in the education system and rising drug addiction among both teens and adults have made these sessions even more necessary. Our church leaders and facilitators, who are already trained as HWOT facilitators, believe that these sessions are crucial now more than ever. Additionally, Community of Practice (COP) sessions were organized to refresh facilitators’ knowledge. The following events were part of this initiative:
