People with visual disability have always been close to the heart of all of us at the Ceylon
Bible Society. The great concern over the visually impaired has led the Ceylon Bible Society
to produce the Bible in Braille. The Braille Bibles have been distributed to most of the
Christian Blind Schools in Sri Lanka. The students have access to the Braille Bible and they
use it as it is available in their libraries. It is also very useful for teachers to teach
Christianity to the Students in Braille. The good news is that very soon the New Revised
Sinhala Version (NRSV) – New Testament, Audio Bible will be available to visually impaired
people. We are especially thankful to our donors for helping us to make the Word of God.
