The Ceylon Bible Society hosted a 12-hour Worship Marathon titled “Joyful Noise”, from 6:00 PM on January 31st to 6:00 AM on February 1st, 2025, at the CBS Auditorium, Colombo 3. This spirit-filled night was dedicated to celebrating and uplifting the Word of God through non-stop worship and praise.
Churches and worship teams from across Sri Lanka came together in unity, ensuring that not a single moment was left without praises rising to Heaven. Each team brought a unique musical style and worship expression, creating a powerful atmosphere of adoration, prayer, and thanksgiving.
Inspired by Psalm 100:1, the night echoed with songs of joy, faith, and surrender, as attendees lifted their voices in unbroken worship. The seamless transitions between church teams allowed for a continuous flow of praise, demonstrating the unwavering commitment of believers to glorify God.
Many attendees testified that the presence of the Holy Spirit was tangible, stirring hearts and igniting a renewed passion for God’s Word and His presence. As the first light of dawn broke, the marathon ended with a collective time of prayer and blessing, leaving everyone revived and inspired for the year ahead.
